Headcanon for what mulder and scully do to soothe the other when they can’t go to sleep ?

“Well, I know that,” she says, sliding her hand under the seam of her underwear.

She begins her slow movement, gentle press, stroke up, slide down. “What medical journal did you read that gem in?”
He shifts over to his side, lifts the covers to see her. The sudden draught of cooler air hardens her nipples and his lips pop open.
